Kerry is probably the most-visited county in Ireland. Spectacular scenery such as
the Lakes of Killarney, the admired coastal drive around the Ring of Kerry and the mountain moorland of McGillycuddy Reeks, only hint at the beauty that abounds.
The awesome coastal headlands protrude like long fingers into the Atlantic
Ocean and continue into West Cork where the breathtaking Beara Peninsula
offers a mild climate, no matter the time of year. Travel a little further south to
enjoy the gourmet offerings of Kinsale or enjoy the uniqueness of Cobh, well
known for its colourful seafront and music pubs.
Famous for it Waterford Crystal, the county has much more to offer and apart
from being Ireland’s most ancient city (founded in 853), the county shoreline
has mile-upon-mile of superb beach.
And why not take a break in Wexford, the land of laughter and music, legend
and romance, where the Irish take life easy and the warmth comes not only
from the turf fires, but the heart! The coast sweeps around the sunny south
east corner of Ireland with wonderful beaches, delightful villages bustling town
and lots of things to do and see.
